Description Richmond Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Program Supervisor to perform difficult professional and administrative work coordinating and supervising BHTs, peer supports and daily activities in CRC/WM programs, supervising the work of staff within CRC and WM, ensuring the quality of program services, coordinating services with other units/divisions and community partners, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Program Manager, reports to the Program Manager. Essential Functions Coordinates and oversees BHTs, Peer Specialists, and Care Coordination activities; set unit priorities; monitors and evaluates service delivery in CRC and WM in accordance with established guidelines and principles; develops and enforces program policies and procedures. Assists in the recruitment and selection of program personnel; assigns, trains, and inspects the work of staff; disciplines, coaches, counsels and evaluates staff performance; recommends suspensions and termination; develops staff schedules and approves leave. Coordinates meetings to discuss client/program,/staff concerns or changes; consults with teams and nursing staff in the planning and developments of treatment and discharge plans. Oversees the coordination of care coordinator services, coordinates treatment with other service providers and client support system. Oversees, manages and maintains program supplies; client billing process and billing documentation. Develops and facilitates psychosocial groups; completes clinical documentation and progress notes on clients. Monitors and audits clinical and medical records and practices for compliance with regulatory, reimbursement and agency standards; reviews documentation for accuracy. Conducts direct care with clients; perform intakes, client assessments and diagnostic interviews; assists clients with activities of daily living. Provides crisis intervention and prevention services to individuals and families; provide consultation and education to staff and clients. Serves on a variety of committees as directed; attends and participates in a variety of meetings. Attends professional conferences and trainings as required. Performs other duties as assigned.Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Thorough knowledge of community-based behavioral health principles and psychotherapeutic assessment and treatment techniques; thorough knowledge of the theories and techniques of counseling, psychotherapy and crisis intervention; thorough knowledge of community resources and human services network; good knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical supervision; general knowledge of managed care systems; skill in maintaining medical records requirements and professional documentation; ability to supervise the work of others; ability to solve problems within scope of responsibility; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to prepare and present reports and program recommendations; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subordinates, associates, law enforcement, medical personnel, community partners and general public. Education and Experience Master's degree with coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, or health related field and considerable experience providing community-based mental health services including considerable supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements QMHP, QSAP, CSAC, or QIDP certification.
