General Description: We are looking for someone who has a rock-solid programming foundation and wants to take their experience to the next level. The candidate for this job must be a forward-thinking, creative programmer who enjoys solving problems and working with others while still being able to keep their eye on the big picture. You will perform highly complex (senior level) computer architecture, design, planning, and programming work while working under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. You will also routinely assist and mentor other staff in performing work as a team. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of software products and integrations.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and operations, of multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new systems and features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Develop instructions or manuals for end users and other technical team members.
  • Write complex software code and debug software.
  • Coordinate and/or perform work on programming projects, including those that are highly complex in nature and/or large in scale.
  • Coordinate and/or write test plans and test data.
  • Develop standards and procedures for programming staff and ensure that work is completed in a timely and efficient manner and is consistent with best practices and defined policies and procedures.
  • Plan, communicate, and manage deployments and uptime.
  • Ensures adherence to coding standards.
  • Ability to oversee and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Architect, and design solutions, systems integrations, and processes.
  • Ability to be on an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work on site.
  • Proven experience as a Lead Programmer or similar role.
  • Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in C#, ..NET core web and APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • General knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with operations and maintaining software in production environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years' experience in Software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with agile framework methodologies.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Git.
