Job DetailsJob LocationConner Prairie Museum - Fishers, INJob ShiftAnyDescriptionPrincipal Function:The Production Crew is responsible for assisting with set-up, operations and tear down of special events at Conner Prairie including but not limited to History on Tap, Jupiter Flights, Headless Horseman, A Merry Prairie Holiday and other public programs.Daytime hours vary but are typically from 9am-5pm. Evening hours are typically 5pm-11pm. Occasionally hours may fall outside the parameters listed here. Production crew team members may not participate in all duties described below. Program managers will seek to align team members skills, interests and availability with program needs. All qualified, interested parties are encouraged to apply.Applicants for this position should be 18 years of age or older.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties may include, but are not limited to:Event set-up and tear downLifting and moving of tables, chairs, props, scenic elements, etc.Decorating, repairing, painting props and elements required for eventsRepairing light fixtures for A Merry Prairie HolidayActing as Headless Horseman jump and scare characters (Costumes provided)Facilitating hands-on activities, demonstrations and guest toursAssisting with corn maze operations including selling tickets and assisting guestsOther duties as assigned; not limited to those within the scope of this positionSupervisory Responsibilities:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Education and/or Experience:GED/High School Diploma desired. Audio/Video, theater tech, and/or special event planning experience desired. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.Conner Prairie is generally open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, this position will be required to work beyond these hours and when open for special events.
