Are you an ambitious accountant with project accounting experience in architecture or engineering? A dynamic and growing architecture firm is seeking a skilled Project Accountant to join their team. This role is based in Downtown Brooklyn and is one a 3/2 hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project accounting for multiple projects
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing
• Review and reconcile project expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Collaborate with project managers to track project progress and financial performance
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Project Accountant, preferably in an AEC firm
• Proficiency in relevant software, ideally Deltek Vision
• Experience with complex agency projects such as those for the MTA
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
