At Kimley-Horn , we are seeking a talented and driven Project Accountant to join our team. As a Project Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our project management and accounting functions. Your exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data will be crucial in ensuring accurate and timely project reporting.
This is an in-office position on our regional accounting team at 6200 South Syracuse Way, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Responsibilities
* Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition
* Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines
* Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis
* Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system
* Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing
* Contract management and review
* Coordinate and pursue receivables
* Monthly travel to other offices within the region
Qualifications
* 2+ years of accounting experience
* Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
* Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
* High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
* Must be an excellent team player
* Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required
* Experience using computerized accounting systems
Salary Range:
$68,000 - $78,000
