Duties and Responsibilities: Add completed building projects and improvements into the fixed asset system. Analyze and adjust project costs and accruals as they occur in the work in progress (WIP) accounts. Process projects for disposal and transfer per request. Prepare analyses of specific central office accounts and make adjustments by journal voucher as needed. Review quarterly Donated Capital reports and reconcile variances. Document fixed asset transaction summaries quarterly into Roll forward spreadsheet. Analyze Fixed Asset system and Activity Management system reports for variances and prepare adjustments as needed. Create journal entries for general ledger corrections. Create, process, and release project miscellaneous entries to the activity cost (AC) system. Performs other related duties as assigned. A four-year bachelors degree in Accounting, or a related field. OR 4 years of experience performing work that allowed the applicant to gain general knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and provided experience in gathering and analyzing data, reconciling accounts and analyzing problems to identify solutions.
