PLEASE SUBMIT candidates with prior MICROSOFT experience onlyJob DescriptionTypical Day in the Role• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of the Office of responsible AI Team is to orchestrate the responsible AI program for all of Microsoft and develops the policies that frontline customer support teams need to abide by when developing and deploying AI systems. Monitor regulatory trends to align policies and support various divisions across the company to stand up their responsible AI governance programs.• Key projects: This role will contribute to 3 areas that will be a focus for this fiscal year. Helping to advance our globally inclusive practices such as driving best practices, ensuring that our AI systems work well in different languages and cultural contexts. Ensuring our response by practices are relevant and effective for healthcare and developing and incubating artifacts that can be leveraged to support customers on their own responsible AI journey.1.) Global inclusive practices projects or programs such as Global Perspectives Fellowship program. This program brings together AI experts from around the world and engages them in a series of activities to help understand how people from underrepresented parts of the world are understanding the impact of AI and the things that they're concerned about.2.) The virtual team will be focused on establishing best practices for multilingual evaluations of our AI systems.3.) Transparency report project manager support.• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:The role will consist of Calendar managementMeeting facilitation prepping materials for meetings, facilitating the meetings and capturing action items.Collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to monitor progress on action itemsDevelop tools and artifacts that can help the team stay organized.Structuring and formatting documentsCompelling Story & Candidate Value Proposition• What makes this role interesting? - This role provides the opportunity to work within the responsible AI space within Microsoft, this team is at the forefront of responsible AI work and being on the inside to see how processes are being created and applied is great exposure to the industry. The culture of the team is great, and full of passionate and very smart people, who will help professional development.Candidate Requirements• Years of Experience Required: 4 overall years of experience in the field.• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree PMI or PMP certification (masters is preferred) degree is required to be eligible for this role.• Disqualifiers: Candidates with industry mismatches (need tech background) will not be eligible for the role.• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain previous experience with another tech company within a similar role.• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, responsiveness, and ability to take initiative.Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience1. Minimum 4 years experience with Proficient within Microsoft Suite; Word, PowerPoint2. Minimum 4 years experience with Project management and presentations3. Minimum 4 years experience with problem solvingHard Skills Assessments• Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: ASAP• Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include 2 rounds; 1st round a screening with sponsor for 30-45min. 2nd round will be a panel for 45min.• Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have general preparedness prior to the assessment.Summary:The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.Job Responsibilities:• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals.• Schedule and manage meetings and stakeholder progress.• Present and explain proposals, reports on project status, workback plans, and issues/risks identified across multiple stakeholders.• Analyze tools, resource needs and requirements, to plan and assess the feasibility of plans.Skills:• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.• Basic knowledge of project management methods, tools, processes and best practices.• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.• PMI or PMP certification preferred.• 2-4 years experience required.
