Project Architect | Design-Driven Architecture Firm - Bespoke Careers : Job Details

An award-winning architecture firm known for their high-quality design is seeking a Project Architect for their homebase in Austin. The right candidate will have worked with and led teams through all phases of large commercial projects, including ground up high-rises, adaptive reuse structures, and small to medium developments.

Responsibilities to include:

• Design of projects on a variety of scales
• Coordinate with project teams including multiple consultant coordination
• Collaboration on project teams on construction documents and specifications
• Play a key role in translating design concepts into construction documents for both interior and exterior systems
• Understanding of all phases of the design process, with a focus on technical aspects of the architectural practice
• Quality control and document review

Skills and Education required:

• Demonstrated design skills
• Appreciation and understanding for the design process and creative problem solving
• Knowledge of architectural practice, including design, documentation, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction technologies
• Proven record of executing technical aspects of high-end design projects
• Positive attitude and experience leading teams
• Experience with staff development preferred
• Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
• Strong rendering and visualization skills preferred - ability to jump on rendered designs and touch up or finalize images
• Ability to multi-task & work on multiple projects concurrently
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, and Google Suite
• 4-8 years' experience in design & construction documents of single family residential and commercial projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
