The Role:
This individual will serve as the primary client liaison, responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion. The Project Architect will coordinate all phases of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and effectively. This role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams to manage project scope, budget, and timeline. Key responsibilities include:
- Estimate project fees, determine the scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts.
- Oversee client budgets and provide detailed fee breakdowns for each phase, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
- Coordinate all administrative and technical project efforts to achieve cost-effective project execution.
- Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements and ensure the final product aligns with their vision.
- Monitor and manage changes to contracts, schedules, and project scope, maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
- Organize project meetings and document discussions and decisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by facilitating effective communication and addressing concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Licensed Architect with 5+ years of experience managing large-scale architectural projects ($15-20 million+).
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction methods, with the ability to coordinate structural, mechanical, and civil systems.
- Proven ability to resolve complex architectural challenges and provide strategic advice to Senior Management on budget, timeline, and project goals.
