Job Summary This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only. This is a Project position designed to support project work for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the project is yet to be determined, we currently anticipate a period of 3-5 years based on business needs at the present time following which you will separate from the Company. It is important for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future at which point you will separate from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this employment is of a limited duration and that you will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 3 years of assignment. From year 4 through the end of your assignment, Director level approval and waiver will not be required. If your assignment ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment. Work as single point of contact for all billing. Prepare, investigate contractor payment processing inquiries/requests. Job Responsibilities - Develop and generate ad-hoc reports and scorecard reports from existing systems that support informational needs of management. - Develop spreadsheets and reports to perform analysis from SAP financial and work management systems relevant to billing, and payment processing. - Develop and/or enhance billing spreadsheets/databases. Coordinate and track communication of billing process changes, best practices and future plans for contractor billing. - Actively participate in problem solving initiatives to determine root cause, gap analysis, along with the development and implementation of process improvement recommendations. Provide timely feedback to determine effectiveness of implemented solutions and take corrective action as required. - Maintain databases for billing to ensure all requests are answered and to maintain historical records of billing issues and improvements. - Develop and coordinate communication of issues to all affected users to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance; provide user training as necessary. - Assist in reconciliation of the accounts as required. - Validate billing charges with internal clients. - Coordinate billing and process issues with the field specialists/supervisors. - Provide supporting files, analysis and recommendations to Associate Project Manager VM to support monthly accrual process. - Analyze files and provide the Manger VM monthly updates and recommendations regarding invoice status, Monthly and YTD spend by department activity, Purchase Order Balances. Job Specific Qualifications •BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent relevant experience and work history •Demonstrate strong working knowledge using the Excel applications, and personal computer skills •Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications •Demonstrate excellent communication and team building skills •Ability to work independently, is self-directed and can multi-task •Must have a valid U.S. drivers' license and safe driving record •Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices Desired: Strong knowledge of OH Electric and/or Vegetation Management Operations, basic accounting, SAP - SD billing experience, advanced computer system knowledge •Working knowledge of existing business systems (i.e. SAP/DWMs and financials, etc.) •Demonstrated experience in database management SAP financial report generation Education Bachelor's Disclaimer Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
