This role will be required to travel.As our Project Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for cost management, scheduling, risk management, development and implementation of a progress measurement process, the preparation of recommendations to decision makers, internal/external reporting and conducting any other project controls activities necessary to streamline results on our technical programs, business development and operations. This individual plays an important role in collecting and analyzing data with the objective of maximizing value and identifying benefits through the promotion of a joint collaborative approach.Key Responsibilities:
- Track and report project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Support change management processes and document control.
- Collaborate with Project Schedulers on schedule impacts & mitigations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project controls, preferably in industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Experience with Procore preferred.
