ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.•Determine if K/O meeting is required and schedule accordingly.•Issue a Master Project Schedule within 2 days of order acceptance indicating all critical milestones.•Based on the contract proposal and resources available, the Project Coordinator is responsible for meeting the delivery schedule.•Coordinate resources to assure schedule adherence.•Maintain budget control (labor and material).•Generate, handle and track all Project Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).•Schedule and coordinate status review meetings as required depending on the project size and scope.•Inform management of any issues that would otherwise compromise project success.•Confirm milestone invoices are sent and payment is received per the agreed upon contract terms.•Complete a Closed Order Analysis within 30 days of final acceptance.•Responsible for machine acceptance and all signoffs.•Responsible to ensure all milestone invoicing is complete.•Adhere to all corporate and department ISO Procedures to maintain Quality Standards.•Maintain proper and current project binders/files.•Some travel required. Must have valid driver's license and full coverage automobile insurance.•Responsible for executing assigned projects in accordance with standard Yaskawa Motoman project management procedures.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Would prefer 2 years in an automated/robotic manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineer. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIESGood organizational skills, ability to solve problems, and computer literate. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Employee must be able to work with minimal supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. Proven track record for developing practical, real world solutions for complex solving.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups and managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to review and interpret mathematical equations. Ability to review, analyze and interpret statistical and quality data.Work requires individual to devise own methods, to assist with methods used by others, to exercise ingenuity, to analyze situations, and apply judgment required to make decisions of an administrative nature.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
