Description We are offering an opportunity for a Project Coordinator in the manufacturing industry, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks related to mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, and reports. This role requires a high level of organization and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and correspond with various teams within the organization.Responsibilities:- Creating detailed mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) reports.- Coordinating and collaborating with various disciplines including Project Management, Purchasing, and shop/field foremen.- Ensuring the extraction of accurate BOM from fabrication drawings.- Resolving work procedures, complaints, and construction problems with supervisory personnel.- Working closely with Detailing Manager, Shop Foreman, and shop personnel on drawing inquiries.- Maintaining department standards for consistency and recordkeeping.- Ensuring code or standard compliance in collaboration with Detailing Manager.- Working with QA/QC to ensure all traceability documentation is created and maintained properly.- Utilizing tools and technologies such as Plant 3D, Acorn, Navisworks, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. to perform tasks efficiently.- Reviewing, marking-up, and modifying drawings from others within the department. Requirements - Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems- Familiarity with database management and operations- Experience in handling EO/IR systems- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation- Proficiency in using About Time for time tracking and management- Understanding of budget processes and financial management- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation- Knowledge of construction processes and procedures in a manufacturing setting- Experience in contract negotiation and management Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
