The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in understanding the details of their customers' business and print objectives. Here's a look at what the Project Coordinator's duties will be:Estimating•Consistently determine press and bindery plans which balance efficiency, simplicity and risk.oProduction plan is utilizing the correct equipment based each equipment's specifications.oLayouts maximizing the square inches of the sheetoProduction process space assessed and discussed as necessary§Folding configurations are of recommended formats for paper weights and grain direction§Bleeds, Lips, Color Bars•Able to translate knowledge of equipment capability to estimating and customer guidance to achieve their objectiveoSuggest alternativesoValidate specifications to yield•Understand the customer's and designer's requests from previous projects to ensure the project is not over / under engineered.oCommunicate suggestions or cautions to sales or customer and offer recommendation to mitigate the perceived problem. •Assess the estimate to ensure each production step has reasonable time allocated. Make necessary adjustments based on non-typical specifications.Job Ticket and Production Management•Customer is comfortable and confident with the answers provided regarding projects status.•Customer Service person understands the customer's objectives for the project and can provide production guidance via and ticket and when production seeks clarification.
  • Successful load is around 50 estimate per month and 65 job tickets per month.
