The Project Coordinator will support the implementation of the DOL Critical Sector Job Quality planning grant. This will include supervision of activities, supporting student participants, engaging with stakeholders, and serving as the on-site contact for events. This position is grant funded with a project end date of March 31, 2025. The schedule for this role is varied and will not exceed 30 hours in a week.

Essential Functions:

* Assist with the implementation of all project activities including providing administrative support for logistical details, collecting and managing data, supervising on-site event details, and ensuring communication across multiple platforms occurs seamlessly.

* Represent the program at university, local, and/or state-wide functions.

* Coordinate and maintain relationships with relevant school/college administrators, faculty and staff, as well as community agencies that support and work in concert with the department.

People Supervised:

Student staff working as interns. Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality or a related field, preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in higher education, program development, teaching or guest services. Experience with identifying and serving the needs of historically marginalized groups, as well as an understanding of their affective, cognitive, and social needs. Experience with event planning preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:

* Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with people of all constituent groups.

* Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast paced environment.

* Demonstrated computer and technology skills to include web and internet navigation, Microsoft office.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Must be highly detail-oriented and possess the ability to work efficiently and effectively within deadlines.

* Ability to supervise student interns.
