Once a summary page appears, hover your mouse over the orange Action button for a list of possible approval step options.Position Information Position Title Project Coordinator Status Full Time Job Summary * This position is initially for 2-3 years and may extend contingent upon outside funding. *The project coordinator will provide logistic and administrative support.Essential Job Duties
  • Coordinate the NSF funded NRT research, recruitment and outreach activities
  • Plan and coordinate external advisory board meetings between the PI and other investigators, and external advisory group meeting
  • Coordinate in the evaluation process
  • Lead graduate and undergraduate students in support of logistics and research operations
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement the outreach activities such as science and technology open house, research experience for undergraduate students
  • Assist the PI in preparation and submission of final reports
  • Assist and maintain student records, coordinate graduate student academic activities
  • Able to assist in Nano-biomaterials Extraction from waste resources
  • Assist in Biopolymers Design and Synthesis
  • Assist in fabrication of sustainable Green Composites
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training) Bachelor's degree in STEM fields and at least four years of experience in research projects management OR master's degree in business and education and at least two years of experience in research projects managementPhysical Demands
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to walk short distances
  • Ability to lift and carry parcels, packages and other items
  • Ability to prepare and analyzing data and figures
  • Ability to view a computer terminal; extensive reading
