IT Project Coordinator
The IT Project Coordinator plays a key role in planning, executing, and delivering technology projects for a high-volume environment. This position requires effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage documentation and facilitate communication.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, and task lists while monitoring timelines and progress.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless project execution.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure timely resolution.
- Document project scope, deliverables, implementation approaches, and change requests.
- Track project performance, risks, and issues, assisting with mitigation strategies.
- Create detailed reports and status updates for stakeholders.
- Oversee project artifacts/documentation, including statements of work and risk logs.
- Manage customer and vendor relationships while ensuring positive communication.
- Ensure adherence to established project management and change control processes.
- Track and align project expenses with approved budgets.
- Support after-hours project implementation to minimize operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing medium to large technology projects.
- Equivalent combinations of training, education, and experience will be considered.
Preferred Certifications:
- CAMP, PMP, or Agile certifications (or actively pursuing them).
