Position Information Classification Title: Research Paraprofessional/Professional FLSA: Non-Exempt FTE: 1.00 Minimum Qualifications: Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Preferred Qualifications: A B.S. or M.S. degree in any engineering discipline relevant to the field of electrical and computer engineering. Preference given to candidates who have industrial or university R&D experiences, strong communication skills. Hardware design experiences are a plus. Position Summary: This Research and Project Coordinator position will be in charge of growing the partnerships among university, industry and government on innovation and education in Cyber-Physical Systems ( CPS ) analytics and security, and fostering the bold innovation and entrepreneurship in CPS. The project manager will report to Dr. WenZhan Song, the PI of National Science Foundation innovation engine project and the Director of the Center for Cyber-Physical Systems at the University of Georgia ( UGA ). This position has a limited appointment term which is expected to end July 2025. The position may be extended beyond the initial term, contingent upon continued funding.
