Job DetailsJob LocationWilson College - Chambersburg, PAPosition TypeFull TimeEducation Level4 Year DegreeWilson College is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Title III Project Coordinator to support the Phoenix Paths to Student Achievement program, a grant-funded initiative focused on improving student success and retention. This position is funded through the Title III grant and will conclude at the end of the five-year grant cycle. The Project Coordinator will be essential in overseeing the program's daily operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, and assisting the Project Director with administrative tasks. Additionally, the Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between Wilson College and the U.S. Department of Education.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Meeting Coordination:
    • Arrange and facilitate bi-weekly meetings to track project progress and ensure clear communication among stakeholders.
  • Records Management:
    • Maintain accurate and accessible records of grant fund expenditures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and Wilson College policies.
    • Assist in preparing and reviewing the Project Director's quarterly progress reports.
  • Publicity and Communication:
    • Assist in publicizing the Phoenix Paths to Student Achievement initiative to the campus community through newsletters, announcements, and presentations.
    • Serve as a key liaison between Wilson College and the U.S. Department of Education, providing updates and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
  • Policy and Procedure Development:
    • Oversee the creation of the Title III Project Operating Manual, outlining program policies, procedures, staff responsibilities, and lines of authority.
  • Project Evaluation and Reporting:
    • Manage the evaluation process for the project, collaborating with an external evaluator to collect and analyze data.
    • Prepare all mandatory final reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submission.
  • Additional Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the Title III Project Director as needed to ensure the smooth execution of the project's goals and objectives.
COMPETENCY:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with grant management, federal reporting, and compliance, especially with Title III grants, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data management tools, and project management software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
  • Grant funded
  • Full-time; regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Some work during evenings and weekends may be required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a related role, preferably in a higher education setting.
