That is what you can be a part of as an Project Coordinator with VGM Forbin. VGM Forbin/forbinfi is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Production Team. As a Project Coordinator on our team, you will play a key role in our day-to-day client needs, communication, and leading various projects. We are building a core team of professionals with strong technical, writing, and teaching skills. You will work as an active team member to solve problems and improve efficiency. Reports To: Web Production Manager | Working Hours: Full-Time, 8am-5pm+ CST | Working Location: On-site in Waterloo, IA (hybrid options possible) Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality customer service and care to VGM Forbin clients to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
  • Work directly with clients and the VGM Forbin production team to guide the website development process to execute requested changes as well as marketing service projects
  • Maximize the value of projects by collaborating closely with the production team and ensuring project stays within budget
    • Explain the reasons for a project and/or task to developers
    • Handle outside request/updates etc. from internal and/or external stakeholders
    • Develop and describe potential goals
    • Attempt to maintain enough refined project backlog items for the production team
    • Prioritize the topics of refinement to ensure the most important conversations happened with the developers. I.e. bring items you are most unsure about to the discussion
    • Act as a Product Manager and provide vision, roadmaps and manage product backlog
  • Monitor project progress and set project timelines and goals
  • Evaluate and report on project performance and adjust processes accordingly
  • Collaborate with sales team to help direct website and marketing enhancements and various client requests
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle
  • Gather information needed from client or team members to enter in all website errors, fixes, updates for your client base
  • Research and resolve our users' technical, non-technical and sales-orientated inquiries. In the process, you will gain essential and valuable product knowledge
  • Attend and actively participate in daily/weekly production team meetings
Qualifications:Education/Experience/Skills:
  • 2 years of experience providing client-based customer service
  • Attention to detail and can multitask at a high level
  • Time management skills and an urgency for getting projects completed above expectations
  • Experience with cross-functional team collaboration
  • Familiarity/Experience with an agile development process/environment
  • Experience with Atlassian Products, specifically JIRA Software, or are willing to learn
  • Experience with utilizing Connectwise for entering ticket for our IT team, or are willing to learn
  • Experience using web based content management systems, or are willing to learn
  • Understanding of web based software development techniques
  • Understanding of marketing campaigns and services
  • Ability to build and strengthen working relationships
  • Willingness and ability to learn and re-learn a changing technical product and ability to share what you know with others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to find the fun in your day and easily find ways to celebrate the wins
Physical Requirements:
  • Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers, phones, misc. office equipment
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision, peripheral vision and color vision
  • Comfort and acceptance of a remote work environment; working at a distance from the home-office and team members yet staying connected through in-office virtual networks
