Salary/Pay Range: $33,637.25 - $46,396.20 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.

Summary

The UCCS Aging Center is seeking a Project Director for a part-time (.60 FTE/24 hours per week) position. The Project Director will work in two main areas: Fund Development and Project Management. This position exists to identify and obtain funding resources, to coordinate and manage these resources and associated projects, and to support the staff and operations of the UCCS Aging Center.

Essential Functions

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Researching funding opportunities, assembling all components of grant proposals, and submitting completed applications

* Coordinating site visits, writing thank-you letters, and submitting required reporting

* Tracking data and outcomes needed for reporting

* Working with Psychology Department and the Principal Investigator to help track proper expenditures and allocation of grant funds

* Collaborating closely as a team with all involved in the Aging Center projects

* Coordinating community outreach

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to move. Tasks may involve looking at a computer screen continuously for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

* Education: Bachelor's degree in philanthropic studies, fundraising, public relations, communication, marketing or a related field.

* Experience: Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in philanthropic studies, fund-raising, public relations, communication, marketing or a related field with two years of experience in the management of multidisciplinary projects.

* Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.

* Demonstrated successfully funded grant proposals.

* Experience with non-profit fund development.

* Previous work and/or interest in learning about the intersections of mental health and successful aging.

* Previous work and/or understanding of mission-driven organizations.

* Previous work in a team-oriented and collegiate environment.
