Hill International is seeking a Project Engineer in Queens, New York

  • The Project Engineer must possess excellent communication and team building skills and the ability to work independently, collaboratively, with full transparency, as required by the client/project.
  • To support and coordinate construction work, ensuring process conformance with contract documents and applicable standards.
  • Work includes site office management, coordination and support of site meetings, processing and confirming site staff input to site management paperwork, managing the processing of requests for payments and/or additional compensation, coordination with facility operations and other stakeholders, and supporting the safety and quality of the work.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Cost Management, or other relevant construction or engineering field of study
  • Project management skills, including skill to manage complex projects
  • Skills in problem recognition/avoidance/resolution
  • Possess a basic ability to read and construe legal documents including statues, orders, regulations, codes and contracts
  • Strong verbal, written and numeracy skills in a client facing capacity including high level political acumen
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous focused learning and skill development, including emerging technologies and tools
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including o MS Word o MS Excel - including use if Tables, pivot tables and graphics o MS Access (For Ad hoc reporting, data structures) o MS PowerPoint o Power BI -
  • Principles of Data harvesting
  • Graphic Interface.
  • Principles of communication of graphic information. o MS Teams o SharePoint
  • Familiarity with other Database Data sources, Data Structures
  • Familiarity with SharePoint administration

The salary range for this position is $83,000-$93,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
