Job DetailsAbout the Position The Project Engineer is part of the project management team that includes the project manager, project coordinator, and superintendent. The Project Engineer's responsibilities are a sub-set of the Project Manager's responsibilities. This role is a step/building block towards becoming a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. This person must be willing to be teachable and take direction well with the willingness to take on a variety of tasks. Large treatment plant project would be the first project for this role.Requirements and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of construction industry experience. Water or wastewater construction experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction management, engineering, or another technical field from an accredited university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-effective manner.
• Strong technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing and implement effective solutions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with and able to navigate Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Experience with and able to navigate traditional Computer file/folder structure.
• Experience with or ability to learn multiple Construction programs including HCSS Programs and Bluebeam.
• Experience in the construction field is recommended.
• Pre-employment drug testing required.
• Criminal background check required.
