We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Syracuse, NY or Harrisburg, PA. In this role, you'll be an integral member of our multi-disciplinary project team working on water, wastewater, utility, and infrastructure design projects throughout the regionIn an ever-changing world, it requires creativity and innovation to stay ahead.We're seeking the curious, those who are stimulated by fresh thinking and a desire to shape our communities in new, positive ways.As part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving changeWorking with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:* Assisting with the preparation of technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates and permits* Assisting with workshop presentations with clients on technical advancement of project studies and designs* Development of project delivery strategies and job management plans, work within QA plans, to help secure resources, monitoring work briefs and budgets* Development of estimates for anticipated project costs, for projects* Working on the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, design plans, and support of construction activities and administration for projects* Coordinating with GIS/CAD team members in developing design and construction documents* Conducting field investigations and condition assessments to identify process needs and solutions* Coordinate communication pertaining to technical and contract project issues and coordinate client meetings* Reviewing, building and managing hydraulic model of complex water, sewer and stormwater systems* Development of supporting project information (i.e. calculations, analyses, evaluations, cost estimates, report text, figures, drawings, etc.)* Performing planning level studies on infrastructure systems* Maintaining open communication with project team members and project managersWhat you will bring to the team:* Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related engineering field* EIT certification* At least 3-5 years of municipal water experience; prior water and wastewater design experience with municipal clients a plusIf you're interested in pursuing this opportunity, please submit an application!Salary Range: $74,800-$112,200 based on experience#LI-JK1As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
