Position Overview: As an employee-owned organization, we seek a Project Estimator passionate about delivering exceptional value and supporting our sales and revenue goals. Key Activities:

  • Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine the full scope of work and required components for accurate estimates.
  • Develop conceptual estimates for project budgeting by performing takeoffs based on design development drawings and standard specifications.
  • Organize and maintain a comprehensive database of project costs, including up-to-date supplier pricing through direct communication and market research.
  • Collaborate in the planning and estimating phases of synthetic and natural turf field projects to incorporate efficient, safe, and cost-effective systems into the project design.
  • Prepare initial project budgets and schedules in alignment with contract terms and conditions, ensuring feasibility and adherence to project goals.

  • Strong written communication skills; experience in writing product and service proposals.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in construction elements, including costs, processes, procedures, scopes of work, and sequencing.
  • Attention to detail: Strong ability to maintain focus and deliver highly accurate work.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook), as well as experience with database and documentation control systems.
  • Prior experience in construction or design is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering and site construction is a plus
