Position Summary:

The Project Executive plays a critical leadership role, overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of drywall projects. This position requires expertise in project management, client relations, and team coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Execution

  • Lead and oversee multiple drywall projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
  • Monitor project process, addressing challenges and implementing solutions to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations across all project sites.

Client and Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Manage communication between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.

Team and Resource Management

  • Direct and support project managers, superintendents, and other team members.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders as necessary.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project integrity and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in drywall or interior finishing projects is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of drywall construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Certifications

  • OSHA safety certification or similar qualifications are advantageous.
