IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Project Executive role in our Long Island, NY office

Scope

The Project Executive will be responsible for assisting the Client Executive in managing the team by developing and maintaining client relationships. A Project Executive must have demonstrated a high level of proficiency of managing large projects within one or more markets. Have a strong focus on one or more markets and has established a reputation within IMEG and with their clients as being an expert. A Project Executive is someone that has developed a focus toward a market and achieved a high level of success in developing and maintaining relationships with desired clients.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Grow Team's project pipeline by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business and repeat engagements, and being visible and active in the market and within the IMEG Selling Boldly program
  • Consistently managing client and project fees with a total aggregate value of approximately $2M
  • Responsible for bringing in new projects on a regular basis
  • Responsible for (directly or as a contributing team member) for new fees of approximately $1M on an annual basis
  • Promote and develop staff's understanding of business development principles, emphasizing the importance of client relationships, market positioning, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Participate in promotional activities that establish IMEG as an expert in selective markets
  • Serve as a Project Manager on most projects to which they are assigned
  • Accept major role in developing and presenting for client interviews
  • Coordinate with Client Executive and marketing department on business development opportunities and marketing efforts
  • Participate in local market focused organizations to help keep the team appraised on market changes and trends
  • Participate in corporate market focused meetings to ensure coordination of marketing efforts and business development message
  • Responsible for the financial success of projects that they manage or direct.
  • Assist Client Executive in collection of accounts receivable on projects for which the team is responsible
  • Support the efforts of the Technical Operations Team to provide technical training and consistency across Teams
  • Assist with updating marketing database with the team's leads and proposals
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to senior staff on client relations and project management

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook * Expert level mastery of the technical aspects of one's discipline
  • Demonstrated aptitude to design/manage major projects
  • Ability to mentor, motivate, and lead others
  • Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
  • Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays

Education and Experience

  • Significant stock ownership representing, at a minimum, a clear, forward focused path to the Associate Principal level
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or higher, in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a similar related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years required, 15 years preferred, of project management, construction management, or related experience

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
  • Participate in corporate market focused meetings to ensure coordination of marketing efforts and business development message

Salary Range $175,000 - $214,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options. In addition, IMEG Corp. provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
