Hardesty, LLC, on behalf of our client, a premier design and build Plumbing contractor, is searching for Project Executive. For over 40 years, our client has set the industry standard for quality adn exceptional customer service for Plumbing and HVAC, exceeding expectations in both Design and Construction. The company, which has partnered with a Private Equity firm, is on an exciting trajectory of hyper-growth, planning to triple in size over the next five years.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the project delivery strategy, accountable for effectiveness and ensuring team understanding, and lead the team in delivering in accordance with the defined strategies; dynamically reassess strategies for effectiveness and change course when needed.
  • Provide project team leadership and attend all regularly scheduled project-related meetings
  • Visit job sites and follow up with clients as needed
  • Prepare master schedule and look ahead schedules
  • Track and manage material and labor budget variances
  • Track and manage all changes that result in change orders
  • Assist Project Managers in acting as liaison and center point of communication / coordination between Field/Engineering/Purchasing and Material Management Departments
  • Responsible for all PMO activities, project support and client service as related to all the administrative functions of our contracts.
  • Track and resolve key challenges vis RAID log.
  • Strategically assist with CO approvals, cash flow management, accounts receivables as needed, approvals for retention billings to clear the way for accounting to process.
  • Review Scope of Work with Sales
  • Conduct a “Mid Project Review” (@ 50% complete) to appraise performance, budget, schedule, customer satisfaction.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 10 years of experience in a technical field such as engineering, architecture or construction management
  • Experience in Multifamily Residential Plumbing/Mechanical projects is preferred
  • Basic estimating and scheduling skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam is highly preferred; AutoCAD skills are a plus
  • Dependable and responsible who can take direction and work with little supervision
  • Significant contract administration and claims management experience
  • Strong meeting leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and alignment skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration, technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills that are audience appropriate

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical field such as engineering, architecture, construction management or equivalent work experience
