Project Executive - Construction (Heavy Civil)

Location: Miami, FL

Package: $170k-$190k (depending on experience)+ benefits

We Search People are working in partnership with one of the largest construction companies in Florida who specialize in large heavy civil projects - to identify an experienced Project Executive

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic planning, ensuring projects align with business objectives.
• Monitor project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints, and identify opportunities to optimize cost and benefits.
• Manage and mentor project managers, superintendents, and engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals and professional development.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum of 10-15 years of project management and leadership experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in project management software and tools; excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are advantageous.
• Local civil knowledge and FDOT experience preferred.
