Project Manager - Ground-Up MultifamilyPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Ground-Up Multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from inception to completion, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for ground-up multifamily construction projects.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and building codes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and address any concerns.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
- Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Utilize project management software such as Procore and MS Project to track project milestones and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in multifamily housing.
- Proven experience in ground-up development and residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in project management software including Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Xactimate is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
