The Division of Highways Development (Planning Services) seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Project Manager 1 to be part of our Planning Services team. Our team is looking for someone with a strong background in transportation and likes working with diverse stakeholders in a culture that promotes innovation and collaboration. This position will work closely with many diverse groups in a planning capacity that include state, federal and private organizations to solve problems and improve or develop processes to enhance current workflow, operations, and compliance. The selected candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work independently to achieve goals. This position is based at the ITD Headquarters building in Boise, Idaho. SUMMARY: To plan, implement and manage one or more regional or small projects; perform related work. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: + Develops and manages initiatives related to Planning which includes doing necessary research and working with transportation stakeholders.
