People skills have developed to show leadership and an ability to motivate others.Primary Responsibilities, and Minimum and Preferred QualificationsWhat skills are needed to be successful in this role? - Ability to implement operational processes for the NY-Sun Program; Ability to work independently and within a team setting; Strong attention to detail and strengths with processes and analytical skills; and Ability to communicate clearly with NY-Sun Participating Contractors and customers.Are there any specialized skills that must be present for the position to be successful? - Knowledge of Salesforce (preferred); Knowledge and understanding of NY-Sun and other Distributed Energy Resource Programs (preferred); General knowledge of the NY Solar and Storage market and industry (preferred); and Basic knowledge and understanding of solar PV and energy storage.Are there any skills or tasks that the resource needs at start of engagement?Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree - BS in Engineering, Business Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.IT systems that will be used - Salesforce, and Microsoft Office suite, including Teams.Tasks Assist with operations of the Residential/Nonresidential Program including, but not limited to: o Outreach and engagement with participating contractors and customers; o Coordination with Quality and Market Standards (QMS) and updates to contractor status; o Support Program staff with new contractor applications and onboarding; and o Assist with project modifications and design reviews for project applications; Work with NYSERDA staff and contractors to continue development of SOPs and guidance documents for contractors; and Perform other duties as assigned that contribute to the goals of the NY-Sun and Energy Storage teams
