Project Manager - Ambulatory Services #19

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

Plans, manages, and coordinates project activities to ensure goals and objectives of multiple and large projects are accomplished within prescribed time-frame and funding parameters. Establishes timelines and ensures project deadlines are met. Maintains integrity and cost containment of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning: In collaboration with Ambulatory Management Team, the Project Manager develops a plan for the project, including defining the project's scope, creating a schedule, and listing critical activities.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks: Ensure fewer issues arise. The Project Manager will schedule meetings, take minutes, and share minutes across stakeholders.
  • Monitoring: Ensure the project is completed on time and within scope. The Project Manager will be responsible for setting deadlines, communicating with the Ambulatory Management Team, and updating the project plan continuously to reflect the current state.
  • Communicating: Keep stakeholders updated on project timelines, address concerns, and communicate changes. The Project Manager will participate in the weekly Operations Meetings and weekly Workflow Meetings to provide updates and gain critical information from the Ambulatory Management Team.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required
    • Healthcare experience a plus
    • PMP Certification, product management, preferred
