We are currently seeking a professional Project Manager to join their team. Job Title: Assistant Projct Manager - Commercial Construction - Central NY Company Overview: This organization is a distinguished leader in the commercial construction industry, leading projects throughout New England and the northern midwestern states. They are expanding, adding to their team to prepare for next year's growth. This company tends to experience longevity and low turnover, having been in business for over 30 years and working with many team members for the majority of their construction careers. While they take on major projects and clients throughout multiple territioires, they also maintain a small team. They are seeking a talented APM AND a PROJECT MANAGER to join their team to contribute to a vision of excellence and community. Qualifications for an Assistant Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related
- 0-2 years of experience in Construction Management or related field; Experience working in electrical construction a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.); knowledge of Microsoft Project a plus.
- Familiarity with software like Bluebeam, Procore, Plangrid, Accubid, and Primavera P6 or other scheduling software a plus
- Excellent team collaboration and customer service skills
- Analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Attentive to detail and accuracy
- Solid prioritization and organizational abilities with the ability to satisfy concurrent deadlines.
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Availability to regularly travel to sites within the Midwest required.
