Description
As a Project Manager, you will take charge of multiple high-end commercial interior projects ranging from 10,000-40,000 sqft and $5M-$20M in value. Your role will involve overseeing 2-3 jobs at a time while collaborating closely with ownership and architects like Gensler, OTJ, and Perkins & Will.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple high-end commercial interior projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring quality standards and safety compliance.
- Utilize tools like PlanGrid, CMIC, and MS Office to track and document project progress.
- Conduct regular site visits (approximately 25% on-site) to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to address challenges and achieve project goals.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams and stakeholders.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with proven expertise in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- A track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Proficiency in construction management software (PlanGrid, CMIC, MS Office) and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and ensuring profitability.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
