Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in technical field work on large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Responsibilities

  • Focus on critical infrastructure projects, particularly those involving airports, SLED and other specialty projects.
  • Collaborate with special systems vendors to integrate various systems essential for airport operations, including HVAC systems, lighting control systems, paging, baggage handling, and energy management systems.
  • Serve as the face of the company while onsite, interfacing with MEP contractors, general contractors, consultants, and end users.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and integration of all systems to support the efficient operation of airport facilities.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Oversee the quality and compliance of all project deliverables, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in networking and/or low-voltage controls.
  • Extensive background in managing and executing technical field work on large-scale networking and low-voltage typologies.
  • Proven ability to oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project progress.
  • Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to networking and low-voltage typologies.

Education:

  • Relevant on-the-job experience and/or formal education in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • Technical industry certifications such as RCDD, PMP, Corning, Leviton, etc.
  • OSHA 10/30

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as O365, G-Suite, PSA's, Bluebeam, Autodesk, etc.

Field Work:

  • A background in hands-on experience in technical field work on large-scale construction projects.

Location and Travel:

  • This position will be Hybrid
  • This position will be required to report to project sites throughout California as required by the customer and/or the project needs.
  • We are looking for candidates who are centrally located in the Orange County, CA or Long Beach or Inland Empire area.
