Project Manager, Defense LogisticsWhat We Are Looking For:Lynch Consultants is seeking a Project Manager to lead support for a Defense Energy program focused on reconciliation of inventory and financial transactions for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Work locations are the customer site on Fort Belvoir, VA, and our Arlington (Ballston) offices. Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Active security clearance
  • 6+ years of related work experience
Skills:
  • Skills and demonstrated experience with DoD Petroleum Industry and DFSP operations.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP tools, EBS, Industry Standard Oil (IS-OIL) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
  • Extensive knowledge of project management and experience leading a team of 10 to 20 people.
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide array of government personnel and organizations.
  • Speak, read and write the English language fluently.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of how the current DLA systems interact with the other feeder systems (APSR, Fuels Manager Defense (FMD), DLA Transaction Services, PIEE, etc.) will be considered a strength.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics Management, or Supply Chain will be considered a strength.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification will be considered a strength.
