Job Type Full-time Description SUMMARY The South LA Community Advisory Group (SLACAG), formed in 2022, is a collaborative of community-based organizations dedicated to the elimination of homelessness and creation of pathways to economic stability for South Los Angeles residents. The SLACAG consists of the following members: the Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD), Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care System (HOPICS), Sanctuary of Hope (SOH), Shields for Families and Watts Labor Community Action Committee (WLCAC). The SLACAG has designed a holistic, equity-driven, and culturally responsive intervention model to advance economic mobility and stability of families during and after a housing crisis called Helping Families Thrive. This pilot initiative will focus on both housing and economic stability, and other support services to bridge gaps in public and private support systems and promote thriving families. SLACAG has secured an initial, multi-year investment from the Carl & Roberta Deutsch Foundation to launch the Helping Families Thrive initiative and serve 40 South LA families experiencing homelessness over three years. Under the direction of the Senior Director of South LA All In, the Project Manager will oversee the management and implementation of the pilot Helping Families Thrive initiative. This will include a high level of coordination with staff from SLACAG member organizations to deliver seamless and high-quality homelessness prevention and workforce development services to 40 South LA families across the agencies. The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the project, leading regular project meetings with staff from SLACAG members, working with CRCD's Learning & Evaluation Department to track progress toward project goals, working with the evaluation consultant identified for the project and mitigating any barriers or issues that arise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES •Manage the day-to-day operations and implementation of the Helping Families Thrive initiative. •Coordinate with staff and leadership from SLACAG member organizations to support the successful implementation of the Helping Families Thrive initiative. •Schedule regular project management meetings with SLACAG member organizations to track progress toward project goals. •Manage relationships with CRCD's community partners and actively participate in regional collaboratives to identify resources and best practices. •Collaborate with CRCD's Learning and Evaluation Department to setup project tracking metrics and data collections systems. •Coordinate with community partners and stakeholders to increase the knowledge, availability and accessibility of housing, homelessness prevention and workforce devlepment resources for CBOS and stakeholders in South Los Angeles, •Lead project related trainings and professional development workshops for SLACAG members as needed, •Organize quarterly convenings with leadership from SLACAG members and liver-experience advisory committee to provide project updates and other relevant information, •Actively provide support and resources to staff from SLACAG member organization to mitigate barriers and ensure successful implementation of the Helping Families Thrive initiative, •Work SLACAG members to accurate data entry practices amongst staff, sub-contractors, and partners. •Uphold CRCD's Mission Statement and 5-year Strategic Plan. Requirements •1-2 years' experience or related work and a Bachelors-level Degree; or an Associates-level Degree and 5 or more years' experience providing homelessness prevention, workforce development or other community-based services. •Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability, and/or have had experience in foster care, probation, mental health systems. •Reliable, flexible team player who works well with minimal supervision, who has a good work ethic, and an ability to set and maintain personal boundaries. •Demonstrated project management experience. •Ability to successfully manage implementation of multiple projects with competing deadlines. •Knowledge of homeless services, workforce development and other public resource systems. •Exceptional communication skills, including meeting facilitation, written and verbal communication, and public speaking. •Exceptional partnership, coalition building and collaboration skills and experience. •Strong knowledge of the South Los Angeles community, community-based organizations, and social services sector. •Reliable transportation: valid driver's license, and car insurance as required by law, as appropriate. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
