My client that I work very closely with has been proudly serving the industry for over 110 years and continues to set the standard for quality and integrity in every project they undertake. As they embark on a monumental $150M Multifamily state project in Western Massachusetts, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the charge while working alongside the Sr. Superintendent and Sr. Project Manager. This project, in partnership with another leading general contractor, will span the next 4-5 years, providing an unparalleled opportunity for career growth, leadership, and hands-on experience in a high-impact environment. They have an extensive project portfolio in the greater Boston location and are also expanding into western, MA as well providing long term security and stability for their employees that reside away from Boston.

Description

The Successful Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Project Management: Oversee and lead multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Preconstruction/Project Planning: Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to develop detailed project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Design-Build: Work closely with the design team to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and building codes.
  • Construction Management: Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality control, and timely project delivery.
  • General Contracting: Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and resolution of issues.
  • Self Perform Capabilities: Oversee and supervise in-house construction activities, leveraging our self-perform capabilities to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Profile

The Successful Project Manager will have:

  • Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) as a Project Manager with a strong background in large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience in leading complex projects valued at over $50M+.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards, quality control, and regulatory requirements and schedule.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Expertise in coordinating joint venture projects is a plus.
  • Ability to stay organized and focused under pressure, and adapt to changing project needs.
