Job Description

Bell & Spina, Architects-Planners, P.C. is a full service mid-sized architectural firm with expertise in architecture and building enclosure design. We are currently offering full time employment opportunities for a Project Manager in our Syracuse Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost- effective execution of assigned projects
• Active in a collaborative environment involving field investigations, report writing, construction document preparation and construction phase tasks working on multiple projects for existing and new construction
• Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
• Coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work
• Have full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects.
• Preparing strategic plans for project success
• Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the clients satisfaction
• Actively manages client budgets, schedules, programs, and team members
• Project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments
• Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts. Specific tasks include (but limited to): Establish project deadlines, deliverables and milestones. Keep client and their representative up to date with project status as needed.
• Manage subconsultant roles, deadlines and fees for the project.

Requirements

• A desire to excel in the field of exterior facade and roof systems of institutional, commercial, and municipal buildings.
• Eight or more years of professional architecture experience
• Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program
• Licensure required
• Experience managing multiple small/medium projects
• Experience working with government agencies preferred
