Mission
The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of project, contract management & technical details between national & international dealer networks. The Project Manager provides support through the lifecycle of the project including design, manufacturing, shipping and installation through effective collaboration with internal departments (Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, others) in order to achieve project excellence.
Our Project Management team plays a key role in achieving annual sales objectives by educating and securing specifications for day-to-day and project specific business across multiple industry sectors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain large projects and manage all phases of multiple releases.
- Technical review of projects for mechanical, electrical, structural and solar irradiation control compliance, shop drawing response and fabrication.
- Define bill of materials, process material requisitions and follow through on delivery of materials and completion of shop orders to meet project schedules.
- Requisition of fabric and materials in order to assure efficient fabrication and assembly of the product and on time product delivery.
- Cross-reference field dimensions to approved shop drawings.
- Look for Cost Reduction opportunities (extrusions, fabric, hardware, etc.).
- Liaison with mechanical & electrical engineering, CAD, production, procurement, order processing and accounts receivable departments to ensure accurate, timely and budgeted project completion and billing.
- Provide downline support with ability to work in team and fast paced environment
- Technical support for dealer network, architects, general contractors and third parties.
- Conduct technical training as needed for internal teams and external dealer network.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year
Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree (Mechanical Eng; Project Management preferred) with 2 years of construction experience, or 4+ years of Project Management experience
- Manufacturing or construction background (preferred)
- Experience delegating, coordinating, and planning
- Must be open to occasional travel to client sites
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Low Voltage control wiring
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (written, oral, listening, and approachable)
- Experience using video conferencing software and virtual collaboration through Zoom, MS Teams, etc.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn products, display and merchandise materials, customer service policies and procedures
- Proficient in Office 365 and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Familiar with ERP Systems and use of SQL Reporting
