Compensation: Project Manager (TA) $71,726 - $93,587 Associate Project Manager 1 (TA) $85,147 - $107,227 Associate Project Manager 2 (TA) $93,805 - $119,553 Associate Project Manager 3 (TA) $113,239 - $133,496 Project Manager (OA) $68,435 - $89,290 Associate Project Manager I (OA) $81,235 - $102,306 Associate Project Manager II (OA) $89,500 - $114,065 Associate Project Manager III (OA) $108,044 - $127,368 Responsibilities The selected candidate will provide research, analysis, and coordination support to the Deputy Chief Officer (DCO), Telecommunications and other senior staff in the Electronic Maintenance Division's Telecommunications Group. Perform special projects (often with tight deadlines and for high-level review and decision making) as directed by the DCO. Develop, maintain, analyze, and present data critical to support sound managerial decision-making including key performance indicators (KPls), and related dashboards for departmental management purposes. Provides information, analyses, and recommendations as well as track, maintain and report on divisional and corporate goals. This position requires excellent analytical skills to evaluate, integrate data, and support conclusions and recommendations using potentially complex and dynamic information from multiple sources. Evaluates challenging issues with the potential for project or organizational impact, analyzing various alternatives to provide data-driven conclusions and recommendations. Desired Skills:

Education and Experience Project Manager Qualification Requirements 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural technology, construction, construction management, construction technology, sustainable design, urban planning, urban studies, city planning, transportation planning, business administration, or public administration, and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting, for engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects; or 2. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of experience as described in 1 above; or 3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus any combination of the experience and/or college education as described in 1 above to make up the equivalent of five years of education and experience. One year of credit will be given for each 30 semester credits of college education leading to a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural technology, construction, construction management, construction technology, sustainable design, urban planning, urban studies, city planning, transportation planning, business administration, or public administration. Experience which is primarily of a design nature is not acceptable towards meeting the minimum requirements. Associate Project Manager Qualification Requirements One year of full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting, on engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects, or supervising a construction project with a value of $1,000,000 or more, and either: 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural technology, construction, construction management, construction technology, sustainable design, urban planning, urban studies, city planning, transportation planning, business administration, or public administration, and one year of fulltime satisfactory experience in project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting, for engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects; or 2. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of experience as described in 1 above; or 3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus any combination of college or university education and/or experience described in 1 above to make up the equivalent of five years of education and experience. One year of experience credit will be given for: (a) each 30 semester credits of college or university education leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural technology, construction, construction management, construction technology, sustainable design, urban planning, urban studies, city planning, transportation planning, business administration, or public administration; (b) a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the disciplines described in 1 above; (c) a Juris Doctor degree, or (d) a valid New York State license as a Professional Engineer, Registered Architect or Registered Landscape Architect. Selection Method: Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
