Project Manager - Insight Global : Job Details

A large utilities provider in Downtown Houston is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join their PMO Team. The Sr. PM will be responsible for monitoring 4+ projects at a given time across multiple business units. Daily responsibilities include writing business cases for various projects, specifically projects that fall within the electric line of business focusing on app development, understanding of deliverables, process mapping, and business requirements gathering. The Sr. PM must have excellent communication and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Other responsibilities include maintaining automated reporting process to streamline data, performing quality checks to validate data that is driven, and identify trends and patters to provide insights that drive business/project decisions. This is a hybrid role and must work downtown 3 days per week. SAP, PMP, Agile, or other certifications SAP ECC work order management experience Bachelors Degree 10+ years of experience in a project management Experience working within agile and waterfall project management environment Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, PowerBI, and SQL Industry experience in Utilities, Oil and Gas, Energy Understanding of transaction codes, process mapping, and business requirements gathering Continuous improvement project management experience
