ABOUT YOU As a Project Manager, you are a highly organized, detail-oriented problem-solver with exceptional communication and leadership skills. You excel in managing multiple capital projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. With a strong technical background and a commitment to fostering collaboration and inclusivity, you effectively coordinate with stakeholders to achieve project goals. Yours adaptability and dedication to continuous improvement drives you to navigate complex challenges while upholding the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and the broader community. What you will do:
  • Identify and propose potential projects for inclusion in the Capital Program, supporting the Assistant Director.
  • Coordinate consultant selection process, including RFQ/RFP preparation, briefings, and contract negotiation.
  • Manage project development, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule, and lead the construction phase overseeing contractor activities and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain coordination with external agencies and community groups to achieve project goals and compliance.
WHAT YOU OFFER
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years managing large, complex capital projects with budgets exceeding $5 million.
  • Massachusetts Registered Professional Engineer or Architect, with familiarity with FAA standards and Massachusetts public bidding laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, budgetary principles, and demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
