This role can be based out of one of our offices in Bloomington, MN or Kansas City

A DAY IN THE LIFE
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the comprehensive delivery of our innovative and market-leading Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities to our customers.
* Lead, motivate, and drive internal project team members, contractors and vendors to influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work and deliverables.
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
* Be an integral part of our safety culture, approaching all aspects of work with a safety-first attitude.
* Learn and understand the highly technical product that we are delivering to our customers.
* Own all aspects of the project, including the project schedule, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Oversight and financial profitability.
* Oversee the QA/QC procedures to ensure a best-in-class product.
* Understand project risks and work with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate potential issues.
* Monitor reports and schedules to ensure appropriate charging of manhours, costs and expenses to projects.
* Monitor contractor progress and performance, reviews and approve invoices and resolve payment and project disputes.
* Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
* Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
* Participates in the development of best practices and tools for project execution and management.
* Determines and lead the final testing and validation requirements of the systems installed in the field.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* Bachelor's Degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, project, or controls engineering.
* 7 - 10 years of related work experience; ideally with 3-5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
* Professional Engineer Certification (PE) desired, but not required.
* Prior experience within the anaerobic digestion or renewable natural gas industry desired, but not required.
* Must be proficient in the following programs: MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Project and Accounting Software.
* Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline teams and motivate others
* Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Able to work independently manage multiple responsibilities (i.e., self-starter, self-motivated)
* Willingness and ability to travel to offices/client sites (estimated travel is 30%)
* Ability to complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher class.
