We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Albany,New York (US-NY), United States (US).

Overview

The Project Manager will work directly with the DOH Executive Management and Project Director to manage activities in support of the Medicaid Enterprise Systems which includes the New York State of Health (NYSOH) program, overseeing the non-MAGI and complex population transition in support of State takeover initiatives.

Roles and Responsiblities

* Managing, coordinating, and reporting on a portfolio of projects and workstreams of varying complexity over the full life cycle of this program, from origination through closeout in accordance with the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and/or New York State (NYS) project management guidelines and project governance, as applicable

* Identifying, developing, and maintaining positive relationships with executive leadership, project sponsor and stakeholders, and be able to influence matrixed resources

* Monitoring of vendor activities, including procurements, implementation, change management and operational oversight

* Assembling and managing cross-functional teams, leading with minimal guidance, and identifying resource needs

* Developing and managing plans and schedules to ensure on-time completion of projects

* Developing and managing a communication plan to effectively communicate program information and status across multiple audiences, including the Medicaid executive leadership, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders

* Facilitating decision-making within the program and with leadership

* Monitoring and controlling scope, schedule, budget, and resources to meet project objectives and commitments Proactively identifying and resolving issues and risks with the project team and escalating where appropriate

* Providing regular status reports highlighting accomplishments, risks and issues to the project team and senior management

Basic Qualifications:

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in management, business, technology or equivalent

* Minimum of 3 years leading projects or working with large project teams

* Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

* Experience with projects/programs having

* significant executive, vendor and stakeholder involvement

* Minimum 50% onsite in Albany, NY, or as needed

Preferred Skills:

* Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

* Familiarity with health insurance industry policies, processes, and systems

* Experience identifying project risks/issues and proposing solutions.

* Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $79,920 - $100,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
