Job Summary

This position will be responsible for driving ISO Systems and Sustainability programs, streamlining ISO-related processes, and optimizing organizational performance comparative to ISO Standards. This position will partner with the Sr. Manager to: create and execute the ISO Systems strategy and road map for the current budget year and future years; developing and oversight management of ISO Systems and Sustainability activities in accordance with the requirements identified in the annual Fresenius Kabi USA Plant Goals and Objectives; and supporting the Melrose Park Senior Leadership Team to identify, prioritize and deliver systems and Sustainability improvements within timescales and budget. The Project Manager (ISO) will guide cross-functional teams on identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best practices to ensure site meets all ISO-required standards. to enhance productivity and quality across various business functions. The position will be responsible for identification and mitigation of ISO-related project risks, implementation of tasks, and adequate dissemination of information to project stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Training and Education: Provide training, mentoring, and facilitation to site employees at all levels and within all departments to promote a culture of sustainability and ISO compliance as well as providing them with the tools and methodologies necessary to drive positive change. Develop, prepare, implement and facilitate training materials to support these activities. Provide guidance and direction to cross-functional site teams.

Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement as it relates to ISO systems and compliance with standards. Work with cross-functional groups to provide data-driven insights, including data analytics and performance metrics, to assess process performance to proactively identify areas for enhancement in different departments and functions as it relates to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.

Manage and Lead ISO Systems and Sustainability Projects: Develop and implement improvement ISO projects with clear objectives. Will be responsible for leading these projects independently. This will include mentoring and coaching team members to use appropriate tools, coordinating with affected cross-functional departments, monitoring the progress of projects to assure timely action, appropriate management support, and achievement of expected benefits. Performance Monitoring: Provide ongoing communication, such as progress reports, to management on ISO Systems and Sustainability initiatives including accomplishments, participation, projected activities, and anticipated need including addressing areas of opportunity with team members. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of process improvements. Regularly report on progress to management and relevant stakeholders.

Innovation: Seek site-wide innovations to drive the elevation of operational excellence. Research industry best practices and benchmarks to identify opportunities for adopting innovative methods and technologies. Collaborate with other ISO subject matter experts across business units to establish standards and guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive ISO systems experience required; project management experience preferred.

* Proven team leadership skills, the ability to effectively negotiate, influence, motivate, and mentor all levels of personnel using written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills required.

* Demonstrated strong root cause and corrective action skills required.

* A broad understanding of manufacturing processes and systems desirable.

* Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and superior organization skills.

* Proven ability to communicate with external suppliers and customers regarding both proactive and reactive issues/concerns.

* Must be able to manage situations of responsibility without authority by leading and coaching other Team Leaders to drive their projects forward.
