Project Manager - Federal Express Corporation : Job Details

Manages projects and products through all lifecycle phases, from scope to support and retirement. Serves as a single point of contact for business partners, management, and the technical team to consolidate and organizes critical information based on urgency to be presented in a timely manner. Collaborates with business partners, technical team members, and enterprise-wide finance teams to implement future finance technological needs leveraging industry trends and innovative practices. Essential Functions

• Manages projects and products through all lifecycle phases, from scope to support and retirement, and monitors project progress through schedules, milestones, and plans.
• Serves as a central point of contact for business partners, management, and the technical team, consolidates and organizes critical information for timely presentation, also creates project awareness through presentations and collaborates with various teams to implement future finance technological needs.
• Interacts with intra-departmental groups, matrix support groups, and corporate management throughout the project and anticipate problem areas and recommend changes in the projects course of action.
• Represents FedEx as the project lead in dealings with suppliers, ensuring adherence to project budgets, schedules, corporate standards, and quality requirements, also oversees consultants, vendors, and the overall project scope, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and governing authorities.
• Performs other du10ties as assigned.

Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, computer science or directly related discipline. Minimum Experience Seven (7) years experience in project/program management, business systems or business/financial planning and analysis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated knowledge of standard project and program management lifecycle practices. Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Project, or other planning software required. Demonstrated skills in project management, PowerPoint presentations, and project methodologies like Waterfall/Agile required. Strong human relations, leadership, and communications skills across business and technical teams required. Ability to develop project proposals required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Sourcing and Procurement and supplier risk management. Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs. Pay Transparency: Pay: Additional Details: This position will be hybrid and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius as employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week. Position may be hybrid in Plano, TX, Collierville, TN or Pittsburgh, PA.
