Project Manager - Cognizant : Job Details

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager -MPP (Microsoft Project Plan) with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CX-Project Management and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM). This role requires excellent communication skills in English and offers a hybrid work model with no travel requirements. Experience in Industrial Manufacturing or the Automotive Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

• Proficient in managing project plan using MPP (Microsoft Project Plan)

• Oversee project planning scheduling and budgeting to ensure efficient resource allocation.

• Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment.

• Monitor project progress and performance implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

• Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans status reports and risk management plans.

• Utilize CX-Project Management methodologies to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

• Implement Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) best practices to optimize project outcomes.

• Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Facilitate project meetings and workshops to foster collaboration and problem-solving.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to promote professional growth.

• Collaborate with the Industrial Manufacturing and Automotive Industry teams to leverage domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

• Have 8 to 10 years of experience in project management.

• Demonstrate expertise in CX-Project Management and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM).

• Exhibit strong communication skills in English both written and verbal.

• Show experience in Industrial Manufacturing or the Automotive Industry is a plus.

• Display proficiency in project management tools and software.

• Have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

• Possess strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

• Show ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Certifications Required

PMP (Project Management Professional) PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
