Rogers Group is currently seeking a motivated, results oriented, PROJECT MANAGER to grow our team in commercial grading and D.O.T work for our Middle TN operations located in Cookeville, TN. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety, ethics, and quality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Interface with local GC's, customers, architects/engineers, and contractors to provide information for cost data regarding project feasibility.
  • Take won estimate - produce quality submittals - review all submittals - send info out - stay up to date with supplier and owner communication.
  • Must have knowledge in HCSS, Procore, Excel, along with the ability to type sound letters to project owners.
  • Ability to read, review job site plans with the knowledge capabilities to be in design conversations and speak accordingly.
  • Producing job schedules, work paths for both self-perform work and subcontractors.
  • Scheduling assistant of subcontractor's and coordination of material shipments.
  • Handle customer complaints if required by site.
  • Must bring to the table a self-starter and able to work under limited supervision.
  • Maintains current, accurate information on pricing and cost variance.
  • Once estimating has successfully won a bid, the next step will go to the PM - Whom ever in this roll must take ownership from hand off to project completion.
  • Assists in compiling annual reports and budgets. Along with weekly job cost reports with the ability to cover information in weekly meetings.
  • Assists with input of information for preparation of segment business plan.
  • This roll must have mind set determination to keep projects on schedule and completed in said time frame.
  • May be called upon by the manager to perform other duties. Performs responsibilities included but not limited to those listed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Proven experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial, heavy/civil project management and supervision.
  • Knowledge of managing commercial and DOT work is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and customer relations skills.
  • Experience in CPM scheduling is required.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proven record of being a self-starter and able to work under limited supervision.
